Terms and Conditions:

 

1. All rates mentioned are valid from January 01, 2024, until further notice and are mentioned in Euro (€).

2. All rates mentioned are based on a Volume/Weight ratio of 1:6.

3. All rates mentioned are based on current ferry, shuttle, road toll and labor prices, and any price modifications reserved.

4. All rates mentioned are exclusive of VAT (if applicable), fuel surcharges, customs fees or customs documentation, cross-dock charges, cool and A.D.R. surcharges.

5. All rates are exclusive fuel surcharge.

The fuel surcharge will be updated monthly and is published on www.iru.org

Changes in legal and fiscal costs are not included and require a rate adjustment (e.g., road tax, transshipment fees and fuel surcharge).

6. All rates are based on „airport-to-airport‟ transports, with 1 loading and 1 unloading address at the airport premises, unless explicitly stated and confirmed otherwise. For any extra loading and / or unloading address on route, to be determined by the operational department, 85.00€ per address is charged.

7. Loading / Unloading Time:

Part loads: 0 up to 6 Loading meters: Rates are inclusive of 1 hour free for loading and 1 hour free for unloading.

Extra time will be charged at 95.00€ per hour (rounded up per 15 minutes) with a maximum of 650.00€ = per period of 24 hrs.

Part loads: > 6 loading meters - up to FTL: Rates are inclusive of 2-hour free loading and unloading.

Extra time will be charged at 65.00€ per hour (rounded up per 15 minutes) with a maximum of 650.00€ = per period of 24 hrs.

Additional operational due to delays (ferry rebooking and cancellations, etc.) will be charged.

8. Bookings:

LTL: All orders must be confirmed in writing no later than 14:00, for loading next day, unless explicitly otherwise agreed between both parties.

FTL: All orders must be confirmed in writing no later than 17:00, for loading next day, unless explicitly otherwise agreed between both parties.

9. Cancellation:

Till 24 hours before loading, no cancellation charge.  (In writing no later than 17:00 h the previous day)

< 24 h: 30 %         < 12 h: 50 %         < 6 h: 75 %           < 3 h: 100 %

10. Cool surcharge: a surcharge of 15% on the rate per transport is applied. / GDP Driver: + 10%

11. ADR / DGR surcharge: a surcharge of 15% on the rate per transport is applied. Dangerous goods Class 1 and 7 are excluded and on request only.

12. Crossing Continent to the UK: a surcharge of €95.00 per crossing on the FTL / LTL rate will be applicable for all DG Shipments.                                                  13. Shipment size standard is based on maximum 3.18m length and maximum 2.44 m width (with the exception of ULD’s); for any shipment outside these measures a different calculation may be applicable deviation from the general conditions and this appendix will only be accepted when agreed and confirmed in writing prior to the execution of any transport order. For shipments who are not stackable, we will charge for the space we use on the truck. (Loading Meters) 1LM=962 KG.

​14. Additional costs.

Double Driver: 350.00€.

Transfer to another warehouse at the Airport: 95.00€ / per started hour

15. For special services, ADR / DGR / Transport Documents for DG / X-Ray surcharge, please refer to our Warehouse Conditions.

16. Any deviation from the general conditions and this appendix will only be accepted when agreed and      

confirm in writing prior to the execution of any transport order.                                                 

17. Terms of payment: within 30 days after invoice date.

18. The booked quantity is the minimum quantity that will be invoiced.

19. All queries regarding the invoice should be raised within 14 days after receiving the invoice,

After which period, the invoice will be deemed correct.

20. „Charges collect'-shipments‟ and „Bank-shipments‟ will not be accepted unless a written agreement between both parties has been made.

21. Unless explicitly agreed otherwise, the invoice is not accompanied by a Proof of Delivery (POD) document.

Transport conditions:

22. Limit of liability on international, cross-border carriage of goods the “Convention relative au contract de transport international de Merchandises par Route” applies, also known as the C.M.R. regulation, is applicable.

23. Air-Tech Custom bonded activities:

- The customer remains responsible and liable for any costs arising from not adhering to customs formalities at point of destination and which would result in customs fines and other costs.

- The customer declares reimbursement and holds harmless Air-Tech for all and any claims and damages, including taxes, fines, and fees, resulting directly or indirectly thereof.

24. The shipper is responsible for the timely availability of the shipments in accordance with the loading information submitted in the final order.

25. Consolidation loads, as per our schedule, are based on consolidation vehicles, for which we cannot guarantee exact loading and/or unloading times.

26. Any shipments containing Dangerous Goods (A.D.R.) must be known in advance by means of written pre-advice, including specific details on the type of Dangerous Goods (A.D.R.).

- The shipper is responsible for the correct and complete Dangerous Goods Declaration in accordance with the applicable A.D.R. regulation. Without prejudice to our other rights, Air-Tech has the right to decline loading and transporting the ordered cargo in case of non-compliance with the aforesaid.

- The customer declares reimburse and hold harmless Air-Tech for all and any claims and damages, including operational costs, fines, and fees in case of incomplete or incorrectly provided documentation.
